How to Prepare for a QHHT Session

Here is a link to a video of Dolores Cannon explaining what can be expected from a QHHT session.

Please set the intention that you can easily and effortlessly access your higher self. It would be beneficial to state this intention and affirmation many times to yourself and out loud leading up to the session. A note on your bathroom mirror is always a helpful reminder at the start and end of each day.

Affirmation:  “I can easily and effortlessly access my higher self.” (Note: the statement is not "I will," but "I can").

All hypnosis is in fact "self-hypnosis." So, it is important to remember that the client is always in charge of how deep they allow themselves to go. So it would be very beneficial to practice some quiet meditation daily prior to your appointment, (to quieten that controlling left-brain) if you do not already do so. You might wish to visit the Links page for links to online meditation sites that offer assistance with meditation. It would also be beneficial to read the article "Dear Left-Brain Client" found on Links page.

To prepare for your session it is important not to drink alcohol the night before and to get a good night rest. If you drink coffee, please limit your coffee to 1 cup the morning of your session. The session will go from 4-6 hours, (and occasionally longer) so please eat something before you come and bring a snack to eat afterwards. Eating after the session will help ground you.

Prior to the session, also prepare a list of questions and healing you are seeking. Please put these in order of importance. I would like you to send me the list prior to the session and we can modify, add or change during our pre-talk.

The general rule is to ask personal questions or keep topics related to your personal life. Here are a few examples that many ask and we tend to expect, but yours may be different according to your circumstances:

  • I have had asthma since birth. Why? Can it be healed?

  • I am in a new love relationship. Is this person the right one for me?

  • I really dislike my job and would like to quit and find a new one. Should I?

  • I have a difficult relationship with my sister. Why is this so and can it be resolved?

  • Many years ago I had something strange happen to me. (This could be a dream, vision, feeling, or experience).                                          What exactly happened, and why?

  • I have a lifelong interest in (name ANY subject) can we explore this in depth?

  • Am I on my right spiritual path?

  • Can I meet my spirit guide or guardian angel?

  • Can I improve my intuitive or psychic skills?   How?

  • How can I create more peace or balance or abundance in my life?

It is generally not a good idea to have additional appointments after your regression. Take the day just for yourself if possible and take it easy. It is best to have some time to process your experience and give yourself an opportunity to fully return to your regular conscious day-to-day reality before attempting any complex mental tasks or strenuous physical activity.

Listening to your recording in the days and weeks afterward is very important. It grounds the information that naturally slips from memory, and reminds you of the guidance and goals given to you by your High Self so that your conscious mind can fully align with it. Even the most vivid details of our dreams slip from our memory after some time. Consider it a consistant tune-up!
